This perspective on the story of the prodigal son is insightful! Worth of the reading by every believer in the Gospel of Jesusโ€”the Christ.

Thank you, Preston! There are more pieces on Luke 15 coming. I hope each one opens the parables a little further. If this one stayed with you, consider passing it along to someone who might need to hear it too.

I've been receiving the daily verse from Bible Portal for several years, and just recently started getting this daily study/devotional. I am blessed by this reading and the wonderful perspective you give us through this writing. Thank you, and God bless this ministry.

I am a disabled senior citizen and already extended financially to my limit, having long contributed what little extra I have to other ministries. I can't afford to donate anything at the moment, but when I am able, I will. I appreciate that these ministries need the support of their readers, and I appreciate you for your dedication to getting God's Word and teaching out to the world. Thank you again!

Deborah, thank you for taking the time to write this. Knowing that this has been a source of encouragement to you is more than enough.

Please don't give the financial piece another thought. The fact that you show up, read, and engage with these words is itself a gift to this ministry. That is not a small thing.

If you ever feel moved to share this newsletter with a friend or two who might find it meaningful, that is one of the most valuable things a reader can do. But no pressure. Your presence here is already appreciated more than you know.

Praying for you, and grateful you're here. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™

Amen , its not a good choice to leave the house of the Father .As christians there is a need to be always in a relationship with the father and his house , for we are nothing without the vine . John 15 :5

Amen, Kelvin! John 15:5 is the perfect companion to this passage. "Apart from me you can do nothing" โ€” that is exactly what the prodigal son discovered the hard way. The Father's house is not a place we visit. It is where we were made to live. Thank you for this. If this resonated, consider sharing it with your family and friends. Someone in your circle may need to hear it today. ๐Ÿ™
